This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) applies to all users of the TrustPe (“Platform”), designed to help small businesses manage recurring payments. By using our services, you agree to this Policy in addition to our Terms of Service.
E-Mandate Setup & Charges
- Once an e-mandate is successfully registered through our Platform, setup fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.
- Any transaction charges, service fees, or GST paid are also non-refundable once the mandate has been processed.
Cancellation of E-Mandates
- A business or its customer may cancel an active mandate at any time through the Platform or directly with their bank.
- Cancellation requests will be processed immediately, but it may take up to 2–3 business days for the change to reflect across banks.
- No further debits will be made after successful cancellation confirmation.
Refunds of Transactions
- Transactions processed through e-mandates are executed directly between the business and its customer’s bank account.
- Once a debit has been successfully processed, we cannot reverse or refund the transaction from our end.
- For refunds of payments collected, the business (merchant) is solely responsible for issuing the refund to its customer as per their refund policy.
- We may assist in raising a dispute with the bank if a transaction was erroneous or unauthorized, subject to NPCI/RBI guidelines
Failed or Duplicate Transactions
- In the event of a failed transaction (amount debited but not received by the business), the amount will usually be auto-reversed by the bank within 5–7 working days.
- If a duplicate debit occurs due to technical error, we will coordinate with the bank to ensure a refund within 7–10 working days.
Platform Subscription Fees (if applicable)
- If you have subscribed to TrustPe on a monthly/annual plan, you may cancel your subscription at any time.
- Refunds will be provided only if cancellation is requested within 7 days of initial payment and no mandates have been processed during this period.
- After this window, subscription fees are non-refundable.

Note: This Policy is designed in line with RBI and NPCI regulations for e-mandates. Businesses using our Platform are responsible for maintaining their own refund policies with their customers.
